COMPETITIONS

Competitions are held statewide at differing levels.

Local: Identify 6th - 12th grade students for regional competition

Regional: Identify the top five high school and the top five middle school projects for state competition

State: Identify the top senior high school students for national presentation of research and to recognize the top middle school and high school students at the state annual meeting and banquet.

National: Opportunities are available to participate in 1. American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) National Meeting, 2. to present research at the American Junior Academy of Sciences (AJAS) National Meeting, 3. to interact with internationally renowed scientists at the AJAS/AAAS National Meeting and 4. to interact with peers from other states.
