History of Presidential Awards for Excellence - NATS has presented Presidential Awards for Excellence since 1983. The 2008 finalist is Reenie McMains, Omaha King Scinece and Technology Magnet School and Honorable Mention is Beth Stenzel, Liberty Elementary School, Omaha Public Schools.

Presidential Award Winners

History of NATS Catalyst Awards - The Catalyst Award is given annually by the Nebraska Association of Teachers of Science at the Fall Conference. The Catalyst Award recognizes "contributions to science education in Nebraska." The 2009 winners were James Rynearson, Lincoln Public Schools, Lincoln, NE; and Nebraska Scientific, Omaha, NE.

Catalyst Award Winners

The Nebraska Scientific Award - The NATS organization annually awards science educators who have been active members in NATS for 20 years with a medallion. This is presented at the fall conference and was sponsored by McGraw/Glencoe Publishing Company in 2004.
