The purpose of the Nebraska Association of Teachers of Science is the advancement, stimulation, extension, improvement, and coordination of science education in all fields of science at all levels.

Mini-Grants Available
The Nebraska Academy of Sciences has a grant program offering mini-grants of $200 to $2000 for travel and equipment. These grants are available to K-12 teachers as well as college and university students and professors. For more information download the NAS Information and Application forms. Application deadline is October 31.October 9- 11, 2008
