The Transactions of the Nebraska
Academy of Sciences and Affiliated Societies contains reviewed
scientific articles relating to the objectives of the Academy.
One issue is published annually. Some 600 copies of each issue
of the Transactions are distributed internationally in an exchange
arrangement, resulting in the acquisition of many valuable publications
by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Library, which serves
as the official depository for the Academy Publications. All
of these publications are available for use by any Nebraska
citizen. Partial funding for publication of the Transactions
is provided by the Nebraska Department of Education, as authorized
by the Nebraska State Legislature. Manuscripts for possible
publication may be submitted to the Editor provided at least
one author ia a member of the Academy.
Other publications of the Academy are the Proceedings, which
contains the abstracts of all papers presented at the Annual
Meeting, the Annual Meeting Program, periodic Newsletters,
and other material of scientific interest. A list of available
publications can be obtained from the Academy office.
